creative wedding photography in sayulita, mexico for couples who live for adventure, love wholeheartedly and aren't afraid of getting a little dirty (or wet!) on their wedding day.

Hi! I’m Bree, Your Sayulita Wedding Photographer

Dreamer, dancer, stargazer, photographer, lover of music and moments.

I’m an inclusive, LGBTQ-friendly artistic Sayulita wedding photographer. I live in Canada but spend my winters travelling the world as often as I can, photographing couples and having the most amazing experiences along the way. I have captured adventurous, laid back, intentional-in-love couples in Banff, Haida Gwaii, BC, Vancouver Island and throughout Western Canada. I’ve even gone as far as Ireland and New Zealand for amazing couples!

On my travels I fell in love with Sayulita, Mexico and especially the smaller San Pancho/San Francisco area and it’s now my goal to go back every winter and photograph unique and inspiring couples in all the beautiful locations I discovered on my own adventures there! Whether you are eloping solo or having a wedding with all your best friends and an epic dance party, I am so excited to capture it all!

I AM OFFERING FREE TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION TO THE FIRST COUPLE WHO BOOKS ME FOR THEIR SAYULITA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY IN 2023!

PLANNING A DESTINATION WEDDING IN MEXICO?

I’m all about couples who are straying away from tradition and making their Mexico destination wedding their own. I want to photograph your love no matter what it looks like - silly, playful, romantic, soft, colourful, quiet or simple. LOVE IS LOVE and my goal is to capture yours in the most authentic way possible. What’s most important to me about your wedding day is how it feels for you. While I love a good epic portrait with amazing light, my favourite moments to capture are the unscripted ones that tell a story: your partner tearing up during your first look (when they said they weren’t going to cry!!), your grandmas hands as she grasps yours, kids and animals doing literally anything (they’re the best), and all the hilarious moves you and your besties pull out on the dance floor.

I want to tell the story of your Wedding day (and your love) through photos that will last a lifetime

Why is Sayulita the best location for your mexico destination wedding?

Sayulita (and San Pancho, also known as San Francisco) is my favourite location for a Mexico destination wedding for so many reasons!

  1. Sayulita and San Pancho are small, beach towns without any of giant all-inclusive resorts lining the beach like other parts of Mexico. While Sayulita has more of a party vibe than San Pancho, you can still find places to have all to yourself, which is helpful when you want to get amazing wedding portraits at sunset on a private beach! There are no large all-inclusives here.

  2. If you’re looking for colourful and vibrant Mexican magic towns this is the spot! The city streets are covered in graffiti and the walls are painted in bright, tropical colours. Jungle plants and vines with exotic flowers cover the town and make for amazing backdrops for photos.

  3. The people! San Pancho especially is a creative town full of artists and performers. Walking down the street you will see amazing artisans and musicians performing every day and night. It’s also completely safe and is a destination for tourists and locals so you get to experience a wonderful mix of culture.

  4. The food!!!! Again, San Pancho is known in the foodie realm for having amazing restaurants and cafes. I’m forever dreaming of street tacos and beach margaritas.

  5. The vibes. The vibes. The vibes. (You have to go to find out what I mean)

Photography for people who give a shit

I’m inspired by the beauty of nature, by cool pockets of light and by the stories of everyone I meet throughout my life. I want to make sure we keep incredible places like Sayulita and San Pancho beautiful for generations to come. I purchase carbon offsets for all of my travel, donate a portion of all my earnings to local Mexican charities and am doing my best to be an environmentally conscious and kind hearted business owner and human. If you care about keeping our planet beautiful, like to spend your free time getting covered in sand and salt, and love to get down on the nearest dancefloor, then I just might be the photographer you’re looking for!!

OH, AND IM GUESSING YOU PROBABLY LOVE DOGS.
