Winter Wonderland - Grassi Lakes

It's a balmy -10 C in Calgary and there is now snow all over the ground. I wish it looked a little more like Canmore does when its covered in snow! ;) Here are the rest of my photos from our family trip to Grassi Lakes. The hike is normally packed in the summer as it's one of the most well-known spots near Canmore... and it's literally 3 minutes out of town. But Danielle, Hudson and I only passed maybe 6 other people and when we made it to the lakes we had the whole place to ourselves! I loved how the lake was only half frozen and you could still make out some of the brilliant greens and blues in the water. It was quiet, serene and wonderful, even though Hudson was definitely none of those things!
