Amber - Bebo Grove, Fish Creek Maternity Session

Amber and I are another classic case of those all-too-familiar Instagram friendships. You know, the person you follow and like and comment on their posts but have never actually met? I have a bunch of those. I kind of think they're great! Especially when we finally get to connect in person and they are just as awesome as I always thought. 

Amber & Joel were a little nervous about their maternity session when they met me in Bebo Grove, my favourite part of Fish Creek Park in Calgary. But they were honestly naturals in front of the camera. I would ask them to cuddle up or snuggle into each other and they would come up with the most beautiful poses! Amber came armed with a beautiful white dress that was perfect for the forested location. And when we got outside to do some shots near the creek I got her to put on one of my personal closet gowns and it looked absolutely stunning on her. 

We had such a lovely night just hanging out, getting to know each other, trying to keep track of the dogs. Can everyone bring their dogs to their session? It makes for such great comic relief. I've said it before and I'll say it again, dogs are the best. I have a feeling that little human babies are also the best? I can't say for sure yet myself but I know that Amber's sweet baby boy Cooper sounds like an angel already. Congrats to the new mama & papa on the newest member of their family!
